CTAC Nikon A1R Demo

CTAC is hosting our second upright multiphoton / confocal microscope demo this week. This demo will feature a Nikon A1R HD upright multiphoton / spectral confocal microscope. The demo system will utilize a Nikon’s A1R HD (High Definition) scanner and a 1300nm variable wavelength dual beam IR laser for multiphoton imaging. I still have a few open time slots available, so if you are interested please see the details listed below to sign up.

This system will include:

  • Nikon FN1 open platform stand.
  • DUVB 2-channel GaAsP spectral detector and 6 visible laser lines for confocal imaging.
  • 20x 8.2mm WD glycerol objective for multiphoton imaging of cleared tissue.

The demo is scheduled to begin today, and run through Fri, Nov 16th. You are welcome to bring your own samples to the demo, but if you don’t have any samples ready Nikon will have slides on hand for you to work with. If you would like to schedule an appointment to see the Nikon system demo, please contact Doug Smith in CTAC at dugsmith@ufl.edu or 392-1745.

For additional info on Nikon microscopes, please contact our local Nikon rep, Jon Ekman, at jekman@nikon.net , or Jeremy Rathfon, at jrathfon@nikon.net .

Thanks,

Doug Smith
