LEICA TCS SP2 AOBS Spectral Confocal
The Leica TCS SP2 system was designed for confocal recording and quantitative measurement via laser point scanning of fluorescence labeled living and fixed specimens. This laser based system is ideal for fixed photostable applications where high confocal resolution is critical.
A filter-free prism spectrophotometer head provides adjustable bandwidth and center wavelength allowing the user to freely create custom fluorescent emission bands. Multiple laser excitation lines provide the system with the ability to excite almost any fluorochrome. Employing a tunable AOBS beam splitter, the TCS SP2 is capable of simultaneous 4 channel acquisition and utilizing a K-Scanner allows the system to achieve higher scan speeds and perform scan field rotation. The Leica LCS software can perform multi-dimensional image processing, FRET, FRAP, and Lambda Scanning as well as controlling the motorized Leica DM IRE2 microscope.

- 405, 458, 476, 488, 496, 514, 543, 594, and 633nm laser excitation lines
- 10 and 20x Dry, 40 and 63x Oil, and 63x Water immersion objectives
- 4 fluorescent detector channels
- Galvanometer z-stage
- Transmitted light detector and manual condenser with DIC optics
